In 2006 Cynthia Ellison became the Founder and Executive Director of First Light Vision Inc. a multi-service, nonprofit agency serving the Atlanta Metropolitan area. She learned from the ground up the importance of collaboration and the power of public support. Her work as Executive Director included empowering women to achieve self-sufficiency for a better life. First Light Vision is mobilizing Atlanta and the Grove Park community to address the challenges of poverty and homelessness by focusing on hunger relief, housing and education.
Through shared learning and advocacy, Cynthia believes that tremendous improvements can be made in the Atlanta Grove Park Community through the efforts of Restoring lives.
